Pho Viet Chicago

A great restaurant with delicious food!! The staff is so friendly and recommended very good dishes. The pho was amazing and very tasty!

4.5 stars: A lot of people have recommended this spot to me, and I was glad to have tried it! The space is huge and very spacious— good for groups both large and small. There weren’t that many people there for Friday lunch and my friends and I were seated immediately. The service was attentive, quick, and food came out quickly. I ordered the Mi Quang, a staple dish of Central Vietnam. It was delicious, though the noodles were a bit flavorless and overcooked compared to the rest of the dish components and I wish there was even just a little more broth in it. Otherwise, the ingredients (shrimp, chicken, pork, greens) were fresh, eclectic, and all came together cohesively. The broth was excellent: rich, hearty, and savory— wonderful umami flavors. We also shared a Vietnamese Spinach vegetable dish, which came with a bowl of rice, and was sauteed well. The garlic flavor was strong, aromatic, and made the dish taste very fresh. I also tried some of the Tofu Banh Mi, which was okay (but very fairly priced— 7.50, which is among the very cheapest I’ve seen in Argyle so far). The bread was flaky and well toasted, and the sandwich as a whole tasted fresh and good— just a little dry. Prices have increased (as they have everywhere) and the changes are listed on the front of the menu, but overall it’s still very affordable and a great value! The menu is very long and expansive, so I’d definitely be interested in coming back to try their other dishes.

Extremely friendly staff and delicious food! Sandra was very kind and had great hospitality. Definitely will be coming back. 10/10 recommendation for anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

I have probably eaten here over 20 times in the past two years. The menu has great variety so I implore you to go beyond the pho, which is still phenomenal. What does stand out most to me though is the service. The servers go above and beyond, and are very friendly and personable. I once brought a large (and loud ) group of friends for a birthday and they were not only able to accommodate us quickly, but they played happy birthday, and even packed the birthday girl complimentary pho. The woman who greets everyone, we joked, acts like the loving mother who makes sure you’ve eaten. Definitely an Argyle must-try.

This place is awesome! This is mine and my daughter’s first visit to this restaurant. Today is our first time trying pho. The pho and the bun bo hue are amazing!!!

This has been my 4th or 5th time eating at this beautiful restaurant, I like the service it's very personable, friendly and the food is always delicious . Look at the pictures of the meal I had earlier tonight here, don't it look fire?! It was good as it looks. Go by and check them out even the atmosphere is live.

Food was very tasty, atmosphere is cozy, and the portions were appropriate for the cost. The service was wonderful and Stephanie was incredibly helpful, especially with helping to package the pho! Would recommend
